  16. Ronnie,
Thanks for this website. I’m a registered nurse studying how best to help low-income and uninsured persons as they self-manage diabetes. How wonderful that you are reaching out to others with support and information. I’m writing to encourage you to take a look at your ‘about’ tab and correct some misinformation. Type 2 diabetes is diabetes mellitus, not diabetes insipidus. There is some good information that will clarify better than I can at Insipidus and mellitus are really two different diseases…it’s too bad that they are both called diabetes. Long ago, it was thought they were the same because they both have similar symptoms. Now, it serves to confuse many of us, not to mention my student nurses. I signed up to receive your blog in my email and hope to learn from your followers how nurses can better help persons with diabetes make their lives manageable. Thanks, again.
