Get rich off diabetes as we conclude diabetes awareness month

raining money in diabeteville Get rich off diabetes as we conclude diabetes awareness monthI don’t have Bill Gates aspirations, or maybe I do, but I often wonder if even Bill Gates had Bill Gates aspirations back in 1978 when he founded the evil corporation, and I always inevitably come to the conclusion that he  probably didn’t.

Ok so why am I rumbling on about a young Bill Gates circa 1978 u ask?

because for me it seems like it is 1978, specifically it is November 30 1978 and while it is the official end of diabetes awareness month.( bummer),  like a young Bill Gates, I am seeing dollar signs from  an  AHA moment I had in recently.

It is a  post apocalyptic 2012 actually its 2020 and thanks to an oracle’s prediction coming true,

UnitedHealth Group’s Center for Health Reform & Modernization’s report The United States of Diabetes: Challenges and Opportunities in the Decade Ahead says that more than 50 percent of the country will have diabetes or prediabetes by 2020 at a cost to the U.S. health care system of $3.35 trillion if we keep on the current collision course.

I am now a  trillionare thanks to being the number one  purveyor of everything  diabetic on this side of the Atlantic and Bill Gates  can eat my shorts.

Ok on a serious note though I have always felt that diabetes takes a lot from me and I have no problem taking a piece of it back by making money off diabetes, kinda sounds weird making money off someone’s misfortune(mine included) when you say it, its like a morticians real upside is more death, but diabetes is as much a business as any other and drug companies for example  are reaping  healthy profits from  it as we speak.

While my blog does not make me a lot of money. (yet…”wink wink”) I still decided to monetize it by adding some  ads and some other  sponsored stuff, I don’t think anyone would begrudge me for that would they?

The primary reason I blog is not to make money  from it  but it is a secondary reason,

I am not a peddler of the latest fad or  flavor of the day cure but  diabetes is a lifestyle disease and am sure someone would appreciate some practical things. I  do foresee a point in the future where this blog can spring board me  to a more lucrative decent of a living so I don’t have to rely on  the 9-5 anymore.

or maybe I should just keep up with my dollar cost average on some Novo Nordisk stock maybe then I will be filthy rich of diabetes.

Its been an excellent diabetes awareness month 2010 and  I hope we can keep the momentum going.
