Things we take for granted that might be useful to others
High speed internet has become the industry standard, when it comes to accessing the web. Not long ago we were all using the slow speeds associated with dial-up and we had to live with it because it was the latest technology at the time.
People in rural areas might not have access to fast internet speeds however and as much as we do take it for granted, personally as a blogger I could not see myself in a world without my DSL speeds.
A Satellite internet provider becomes an alternative option to dial up for those looking to acquire the benefits of high speed internet access.
I cant say I don’t take these things for granted because I do. We live in a great country where we have all these options and we should be grateful for that.
I sometimes stop and ponder how effective my diabetes management would be if I was in a different or remote part of the world without ready access to my diabetes medication or diabetes supplies.
How would the lack of these helpers that I take for granted help me manage my diabetes?
Will the knowledge that I have gathered, primarily based on my “special” environment be to others.
I feel blessed that even though I have Diabetes, I have access to the best care imaginable and just for today I will not take it for granted and maybe you shouldn’t either.
