Riding your way to effective diabetes management
This happens to be a revolutionary idea however which is as old as the wild wild west and the reason why those cowboys had rock hard abs.
It is called the Horseback riding machine and as soon as I was introduced to it a few weeks back it has filled my head with images of a poor ol me riding my way to a wrangler national finals.
Cattle rustling, bull riding, calf roping and all the fun stuff that goes with this extreme sport.
Maybe I just miss playing cowboys and Indians, the once promising childhood fantasy game that I enjoyed many a times or maybe its my draw to extreme sports.
Alas this mechanical contraption while it has become an integral part of my diabetes management, while I attempt to stabilize my core muscles will be my only foray into the world of professional rodeo cowboys.
While my curiosity always peeks towards extreme sports and the highest performance levels of any sport it is not surprising that I gravitated towards the national rodeo finals held annually in Vegas.
This is the super bowl event for cowboy related events which include roping, wrestling and riding skills, earning a berth in this championship event is a culmination of over 200 days on the road for an athlete participating in over 600 events annually just to earn a berth for participation.
At the elite levels, the purses are much larger as well, with winners taking home six figure purses and the glory of being named champion.
Intriguing does not begin to explain the spectacle that is this professional rodeo event.
Yes thanks to the Japanese, I am completely sold on an idea of being all you can be so who knows maybe there is a calling there.
On second thought maybe I will just stick to getting Tickets to the National Final Rodeo and stick to what I do best, but then again what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.

WELCOME!!
