Diabetes Management Day 5
At 200 this morning I have realized that I am having higher fasting Blood Glucose levels in the morning which might be because I am eating my dinner later in the evening.
It might just be a logistical issue however I think that I can escape from it at the moment, I will try to eat at 9 pm giving me about 2.5 to 3 hrs before going to bed, I need to see what is the optimum time to eat dinner for effective night time management.
As soon as I took a break from the fitness program these last 2 days (gym has been closed, poor excuse but I had little in choices because of the holiday), my BG’s shot back up up the 200 again which tells me that my body is not yet fully adjusted to the insulin sensitivity caused by the exercise.
On the bright side, my tail bone is healing so not as much pain when riding tomorrow, the 2 days of rest surely helped that.
My Idea of working out just 5 days of the week will have to be revisited.
The five days were simply a logistic problem, I work from 7am to 7 pm 6 days of the week with Mondays off but the gym is only open from 8am to 8pm on weekends giving not nearly enough time to get there and put in enough work, I will have to try and adjust my schedule or find a work around.

WELCOME!!

HI
I think it is very good that you make tests, but I think you should talk with your doctor, too.
This is just a 30 day experiment, I have been a diabetic for over 12 years now and I know what works for my body and I am extra careful not to exceed the limits.
