diabetes management day 3

Today my sugars were consistently in the 100′s for the first time in a few months. Its day three and already I am seeing results, I had hoped that the drop after working out would be significantly lower than the 2 points but I will take that for now, small victories right.

Today my diet had literally no carbs in it except the peas maybe that’s the reason for the lower sugars, I had peas for dinner and I want to see how that affects my fasting sugars in the morning.

Snack

Turkey Sandwich
4 oz Turkey serving – 90 calories
(Fairground sliced deli thin chicken from Fairgrounds bought at save a lot)
1 slice American cheese-105 calories
lettuce leaf -20 calories

Dinner

Baked chicken
8 oz chicken leg quarter – 300 calories
¾ a cup green peas – 100 calories

Snack

Apple Sauce– 100 calories

Free Calories

5 tea cups a day

1635 calories

500 mg of Metformin twice a day

1000mg of Omega 3 Fish Oil twice a day
1000mcg of Chromium Picolinate twice a day

  1. It’s good to know you are taking fish oil and chromium picolinate.
    May I add that aloe vera gel is also effective. It can help your pancreas to function properly and regulate insulin secretions.
    In other words, fish oil and chromium picolinate and aloe vera gel make a potent combination in avoiding or controlling diabetes.
