diabetes management day 24
I did not help matters today by eating the apple sauce. my usual apple sauce very low carb count but it seems that I was paying attention to this one when I bought it.
I usually am pretty cool at checking the labels on everything I eat but today I was in hurry and just took a scoop. From buying the wrong item to not reading the label to eating the snack, 1 major mistake followed by a few minor ones and I had jumped 70 points from the 32 grams of carbs in the apple sauce serving.
The lesson is obviously being vigilant and making sure that you are just not reaching for something without checking the content.
I am sure, I will be back to pushing forward and improving the sugars but this lapse has given me more lessons than I thought.
