diabetes management day 20
First I did the challenge successfully and I am so proud of myself.
I haven’t been that beat in a long time and I think I will take a break tomorrow.
This was the first time that my sugars have gone low, I consider 60 as a low so t 63 I was borderline.
I did this before breakfast so I think that’s the reason I was depleted at the end. (eating a snack might have been a good idea but I wanted to see just how low the sugars would go.)
Interestingly the sugars stayed at under 100 all day long as well.
Fun factor – this was by far the most fun I have had in a while and when the instructor and the others in the class realized what I was up to then I had encouragement all over the place, I think I might make this a regular occurrence but like I said, I will eat a snack before the workout until my body adjusts.
I honestly prefer to workout pre breakfast so my body can use the reserves.
While this was just a challenge, I am looking at adding this to my regular weekend schedule. I will just see how it goes.
I wonder what my reward should be for this……
hmmm a few ideas come to mind, stay tuned
